How to Perform a Mercedes-Benz COMAND® System Reset

If you’re attempting to perform a Mercedes-Benz COMAND® system reset: 

• Select “Vehicle” in your main function bar.
• Select “System,” followed by “Reset.”
• Accept “Reset” when prompted for verification. 
• Once you reset your system, all of your personal history will be erased, and your system will begin again in its original factory state. 

If you’re looking to perform a Mercedes-Benz COMAND® update, don’t sweat it. The system updates automatically as needed. 

What Is Mercedes-Benz MBUX®?

As of 2020, new Mercedes-Benz models offer MBUX®, which stands for Mercedes-Benz User Experience. Here are the features it adds on: 

• You can navigate it via your touchscreen, a touchpad near your gear-shifter, and with steering-wheel controls. 
• You no longer have to memorize voice commands. Just say, “Hey Mercedes” to initiate its Natural Language Understanding Software and talk to it like you would talk to a friend.
